Fantastic Product - Entrylevel editing, on a budget!
I have been using Sony Vegas products for awhile now, breaking into youtubing, and convention journalism. I have found them to be very easy to use once you get the hang of it, however some embarrassing newb mistakes were naturally made, for instance not knowing I could split the video track with 's' until searching all over the internet. over all though, once you let yourself learn the program, it's very easy to use. I do highly recommend this product to anyone , and everyone you really can't say no to this product, it's extremely inexpensive, and unless you need something more powerful, you can't go wrong.

Best Video Sotware I've used so far !
This is the best video software for creating, editing and also for converting video files.
It is easy to use, learning curve is fairly quick and there are nice tutorials that come with it to get you started.
Only drawback for me is that the 'render as' function does not work on my system. I have to use another way around this that the support team has suggested to me.

Absolutely no regrets!
I was taking a course on video production but could not afford the system we used in class. I deceided to take the principles and run with 'em on Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum (9 at the time). I was amazed at what I could do, and how I could bring the pictures in my mind to fruition with Vegas.The software was user friendly, the documentation and training guide were great.
I have since followed the upgrades as they have come along. I am currently using 11. Outstanding! The feature set is more than enough for professional-quality creative works. I am constantly reccommending it to classmates and folks I come across in the industry.

Good tool
I had previously owned EditDV but when I updated my computer, it was no longer supported under the newer versions of Windows. After comparing various packages, I went with Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 11, and have been delighted to find all the capabilities I expect are available. It's been a great tool.

the most dollar for results value product on the market
on acquiring my vegas movie studio i thought it was going to be an amatuerish product .. but wow was i wrong ! it is absolutely fantastic .l love it .l have used other products such as final cut pro etc l truly think this is the best dollar value product on the market for video editing because it can achieve almost the same amazing editing as its more expensive competitors and with easy to use functionality of controls ..keep it up sony you,ve got my vote .

Great Video editor
I have been using Vegas movie studio 9 for about 2 years now and boy am I glad I upgraded. I can now import my .mov files from my camera with working sound and video. Easy to use drop and play type setting makes ideal for people who love HD videos on youtube and great looking video with multiple export settings. I also love the upload to youtube feature on both my movie studio editions. Bottom line I recommend it to every one who wants and upgrade in movie editing software but is on a tight budget. You can do simple one clip movies or elabrote strung out movies for the best of video editors and complete newbies to video editing.

Pictures, Videos, Sound, all you could want
If you are not an expert of creating videos then this is the product for you. After each holiday our family takes I put the videos and pictures into a directory. Then with Vegas I use the SlideShow feature for the pictures, stunning, then add the videos at the start and finish. I then load them upto you tube and send an email to others who can then see them. I also put a sound track on the slide show of the pictures, for example after a holiday in Ireland we bought a CD of their music and this adds extra enjoyment.
Well worth the money and hours of fun, the tutorials are well worth going through to know how to use the features.
If your a novice like me then enjoy the results as they are impressive and will last a lifetime, put them on you tube and then you know they will last years and years.
Just image in the future looking back upon these precious memories, not just pictures put a presentation of your holidays or other activities.

Great for Beginners!
I started off with this program to learn how to edit video and loved it! Although it doesn't have many of the more advanced features, what it does have is well worth the price.
