This production suite is ahead of its time, and it raises the bar for competing products.
It works well at smooth editing, fast rendering, Bluray production, and a wide range of input formats. There is a pleasing plentiful selection of video and track FX variations and easy integration of video with audio and production functions.
Image stabilization at several levels, and the ability to match project properties to those of media being imported are advanced functions. The excellent help system, interactive tutorials, and webinars allow for ease of use. I use this product on an older Athlon X2 5600 value system, as well as a newer I7 performance system. It always satisfies.
I plan to move into 3D soon because there is a full set of supporting functions in this software.

Fantastic Product - Does everything you could need it to. - On a Budget!
I have been using Sony Vegas products for awhile now, breaking into youtubing, and convention journalism. I have found them to be very easy to use once you get the hang of it, however some embarrassing newb mistakes were naturally made, for instance not knowing I could split the video track with 's' until searching all over the internet. over all though, once you let yourself learn the program, it's very easy to use. This is one of the least expensive vegas products and well worth the investment! You won't be disappointed, and if you are you can upgrade to pro!

Very good product.
This product is very good for the money. I've used both professional and bottom end products for video editing and this by far is my favorite. Although it is way less expensive than pro grade it still has many of the same features as the top programs. And the NewBlueFX is an extra that adds many more options for transitions. Great product Sony.

Finally found a stable software for video editing!
I'd tried various makers' products to edit our performance videos, and Vegas is the best. Video editing requires some time to lamp up to me, and it was a bit tricky until I used to do that; however, I love the stability that Vegas provides. While using other software, I had a lot of stress - after long hours of editing and rendering, it crush or hung or output video contains black boxes, or very low quality...
I've recommended this product to my friends.

It gets better and better
Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 Production Suite is the best sub if you don't have the money to buy the Pro version. If your inspiring filmmaker like me then this is the best place to start. it allows you due petty munch anything you want done with a editing system and the other programs that come with it make it even better.

Easy Software With Plenty of Features
I needed a software that can provide more features than the Windows Movie Maker. This software comes loaded that will satisfy anyone that loves to make movies and is inexpensive. I couldn't find a better deal that provides as much as this.

Okay, Not the Best
I was using this and it gave me a lot of problems, then i went to Final Cut Pro its the best!!!!!
