Sony Releases New Soundtrack Composition Package - Cinemascape: Soundtrack Construction Elements Premium Collection Features Wide Selection Of Royalty-Free Composition Music Samples Thursday, April 14, 2005 Sony Media Software Recognizing the broad popularity and increasing professional demand for royalty-free music and sound, Sony Creative Software announced the release of Cinemascape: Soundtrack Construction Elements. This new Premium Collection (2-CD, 24-bit) title is a royalty-free soundtrack composition resource that contains a broad assortment of textures and melodies created specifically to provide musical elements that enhance visual information.
Cinemascape sounds range from sparse, layerable elements, to fully-produced music segments that can be used as instant soundtrack material. Sound categories include strings, piano, pads, textures, thematic elements, and environments. Included with this two-disc set are two editable, ready-to-use ACID Pro software projects that blend 24-bit Cinemascape collection sounds with loops and samples from throughout the vast Sony® Sound Series™ catalog.
Sony® Sound Series™ libraries offer comprehensive solutions for music creation. Three levels: Classic, Standard, and Premium, offer multiple price point options across a wide range of music genres. "We're pleased to see Cinemascape enter our catalog at the Premium Collection level," said Dave Chaimson, Vice President of Marketing for Sony Creative Software. "Music producers and videographers will enjoy the 24-bit sound, the sheer quantity of content, and all the extras that make Cinemascape a special class of product."
Sony® Sound Series libraries appeal to film music producers. "Cinemascape is interesting, useful and comprehensive. This library is a great tool kit for creating several of film scoring's basic tones and flavors," said noted soundtrack composer Gary Chang (Island of Dr. Moreau, Path to War, A Bright Shining Lie, Under Siege).
Sony® Sound Series™ libraries are delivered in the ACID .wav file format that supports pitch-shifting and time-stretching, and is also recognized by products such as Live, Sonar, Cubase, Logic, and GarageBand. These loops can also be imported into any other non-linear editor that supports the .wav file format.
