Anthony Casuccio
Xtream mastering with Sound Forge
In 14 years of working with major labels, Anthony Casuccio has worked with some of the greats: Roy Orbison, Tony Bennett, Johnny Cash and the London Symphony Orchestra. Casuccio spent years with the Reader's Digest's record label and Sony Music's Redband Broadcasting, producing and engineering and mastering for the major labels and with some of the biggest stars. In 2002, he founded Xtream Audio Mastering, where he brings his high profile experience to work for independent artists.
"The main goal is to level the playing field for the independent artists by offering major label-quality mastering at an affordable price," says Casuccio. "We also do a lot of work for major labels and don't hurt their pocketbooks, either."
From hip-hop to house and everything in between, Casuccio is able to work in any genre. His clients can send him one track or an entire album via the Internet or recordable media. Within 36 hours, the artists can hear samples of their work mastered and ready for production. Xtream Audio is able to achieve such impressive turn-around by using Sony Creative Software products. Casuccio relies on Sound Forge software for mastering and audio restoration, Vegas software for mixing and recording live audio, and creates original music tracks for commercials in ACID Pro software.
"I use Sony Creative Software products for their quality and ease of use. They are always dependable and I have very little downtime." The quality of Casuccio's work was recognized with two 2007 Grammy nominations for albums he mastered at Xtream, Louisiana - A Pianist's Journey by Kenneth Boulton (Cambria Master Recordings) was nominated for Best Instrumental Soloist Performance (without Orchestra), and 30 Songs of the Russian People by Joseph Banowetz and Alton Chung Ming Chan (Toccata Classics) was nominated for Best Chamber Music.

I have worked in some of the best studios in the world and on some of the most expensive equipment. With Sound Forge, I get the same quality and capabilities at a fraction of
the cost.
