One of my Favorite S/W programs Have been using Sound Forge Pro 10 for a couple years now. Works great for converting old vinyl recordings, audio tapes, etc. to CD's. I love the 'Click and Crackle' removal and the 'Noise Reduction'. The final recordings are as well or better than newly purchased music CD's. March 29, 2012
Sound Forge - a must have wav tool i think it was Sound Forge 4.0 that came bundled with one of my early computers way back when ... at the time i was like, "what is this forge thing" as they used the iron-forge-foundry metaphor in graphic ... but once i got into doing more multimedia development, i quickly learned how versatile and important Sound Forge was to my toolset ... since then, i've found that Sony's investment and continued development of media tools has been awesome and i am always quick to tell newbies to look to Sony suites of tools as i find them very intuitive vs many of their competitors options but i digress March 29, 2012
Sound Forge Pro 10 - Another Great SonyCreativeSoftware Product Admittedly I have not had a lot of time to use Sound Forge Pro 10. I recently purchased Sound Forge Pro 10 on a promo sale that SonyCreativeSoftware.com offered. I am a firm believer of owning legit copies of the software I use. I use Acid Pro 7 as well and just attended a Mixing Console session they offered. Did I ever learn a lot from that online webinar. I like to think i know my way around Sony's software - but you can always learn something. I am looking forward to using Sound Forge Pro for detailed editing on specific recordings and for the final master stage of my products. The beauty of Sound Forge Pro 10 and Acid Pro 7 is their ability to work seamlessly together and their simplicity of use. Intuitive is the best way to describe Sony's products. I've been spending a lot of time in the multi-media world as of late - learning video editing software, audio platforms & web design programs - i still come back to Sony products and feel like I'm easily at home. Oh - and the fact that CD architect is included in Sounds Forge Pro 10 - thats a bonus for me - there are still some of us that enjoy popping a disc in the car stereo and cranking it up to 10! Long time user recommends highly I have been using Sound Forge as an audio editor ever since it was released and have found it to be the perfect audio editor for me. I have tried several other editors and always have found myself missing this or that feature of Sound Forge. The program also operates without needing an overly fast CPU or tons of memory, in fact it's requirements are rather modest by today's standards. I use it for mastering, repair of files from scratchy records and also for working on individual files in a multi-track recording. It handles most audio files available with ease. It is also extremely stable especially compared to some competitors. Sony has done a great job of support and update ever since they bought it from Sonic Foundry. I Iook forward to using it for many years to come and recommend it and it's lesser siblings to anyone looking for a good audio editor. March 29, 2012
Extremely powerful audio tool I've been using Sound Forge since version 5, and I've always found it to be incredibly useful and well thought-out. I use it for editing and fine-tuning recorded tracks from my studio, and for cleaning up old tape recordings for customers. I appreciate the way many of the features are implemented; for example, the ability to specify the normalization target value. For fine-grained control, Wave Hammer might be the best compressor-limiter plug-in ever. March 29, 2012

You must provide registration information to Sony Creative Software Inc., a US company, in order to activate the software. Product requires online registration within 30 days.
