A Sony Certified Vegas User is a person who has demonstrated proficiency with Vegas software. To become a SCVU, you must pass an online proficiency exam. The exam is based upon the Digital Video and Audio Production course book and anyone would be well prepared for the exam after studying that book. However, mastery of the material in the book does not ensure a passing grade and we strongly recommend that you consider yourself proficient in the application before you take the exam. SCVEs are familiar with Vegas best practices and understand how to get the most from Vegas software in order to maximize productivity and streamline workflow. To obtain the SCVE credential you must first earn the Sony Certified Vegas User certification. You must then pass a practical exam in the presence of a Sony Creative Software approved moderator.
