Sony Certified Vegas Editor (SCVE) Program
SCVE certification requires more intensive testing than SCVU status. To earn the SCVE designation, you must first earn the Sony Certified Vegas User designation. Then, in the presence of a Sony Creative Software approved moderator at our facilities in Madison, Wisconsin, you must demonstrate mastery of advanced video and audio production techniques via a hands-on practical exam. You might want to consider combining your exam date with a day or two of training in order to maximize the benefits of your trip to Madison. Cost $99 (exam only-contact us for training rates)

In preparing for the SCVE exam, you'll want to devote your study and preparation time to moving beyond the base techniques needed to operate Vegas and develop a strong proficiency in advanced Vegas techniques and tools. Among others, these topics include:

SCVE exam grading requirements
After earning the SCVU designation, a test score of 85% or higher is required on the practical exam. You will have one chance to pass the practical exam per purchase. If you fail the practical exam, you will still hold the SCVU designation and you can purchase another attempt at the practical exam if you wish to do so. If you pass the practical exam, you will be awarded the SCVE designation. Cost $99
