  1. Which devices are officially supported by Media Go?
    Media Go officially supports many phones from Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB and the PSP™ System from Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.

  2. What types of files can I play, transcode, and transfer using Media Go?

  3. The video I’ve recorded on my phone won’t play in Media Go. What should I do?
    If you aren't already using Media Go 1.3, download and install it here.

  4. Some files in my library play just fine in other media players, but fail to play in Media Go and are placed in the "Other Files" category. What should I do?

  5. Can Media Go look up album artwork for items in my library?
    Yes, Media Go can look up album artwork using the "Get Album Artwork" feature. This feature uses the Gracenote® MusicID® database. Please see the Media Go online help (Help>Contents and Index) for more information about this feature.

  6. Can Media Go rip DVDs?
    Media Go cannot rip DVDs.

  7. Does Media Go offer a ratings feature for my media?
    Yes, you can add ratings (using one to five stars) to your media. Ratings are a great way to sort your media.

  8. Can I purchase new media through a store in Media Go?
    Yes, Media Go contains a store feature. If your device has an online store, the store is displayed once your device is connected, and the media (music, videos, pictures) purchased through that store can be used by Media Go and your device.

  9. Can I edit media with Media Go?
    Other than the ability to edit file metadata (such as title, artist, and description) and rotate photos, there are no media editing features in the current version of Media Go.

  10. Can I upload media to Web sites like MySpace, FaceBook, and YouTube using Media Go?
    There are no upload features in the current version. However, you can drag your media out of the application and upload it to any Web site.

  11. Can I manage my podcast subscriptions with Media Go?
    Yes, Media Go has many podcast features, including full subscription management. It also includes a podcast directory where you can find new and interesting content. Media Go 1.3 is the best version for podcast users. Download and install it here.

  12. Can I rip my CDs using Media Go?
    Yes, you can rip your CDs to either .mp3 or .mp4 formats.

  13. Can Media Go automatically synchronize media to my device?
    Yes, Media Go can automatically synchronize podcasts, recently added media, or playlists to your portable device.

  14. Can Media Go convert my files to work with my device?
    Yes, Media Go can determine the best settings for your device and, if necessary, encode your media for optimal performance before transferring to the device.

  15. Does Media Go import media I have already organized using Sony Ericsson Media Manager or iTunes software?
    Yes, during the initial setup process, you can import media organized with Sony Ericsson Media Manager or iTunes software.

  16. How does the library for Media Go work?
    Media Go continually monitors your specified media folders and automatically updates your media library when changes are made.
